We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Senior Fashion Designer to lead the design and development of our menswear and womenswear collections while shaping the future creative direction of the brand.

Position Overview

The Senior Fashion Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing luxury collections across menswear and womenswear categories. This role requires a strong understanding of fashion trends, garment construction, luxury fabrics, fit development, and commercial product creation.

The ideal candidate combines creative excellence with technical expertise and has a proven ability to take collections from concept through production while maintaining exceptional quality and brand consistency.

Key ResponsibilitiesCollection Development

Lead the design and development of seasonal and core collections.
Create innovative and commercially viable designs for both menswear and womenswear.
Develop collection themes, mood boards, color stories, and seasonal concepts.
Ensure collections align with the House of Valerion brand vision and luxury positioning.
Build complete product ranges across multiple categories.

Design & Technical Development

Create detailed fashion sketches and technical drawings.
Develop complete Tech Packs and product specifications.
Define garment construction details, measurements, trims, and finishes.
Collaborate with pattern makers and sample development teams.
Ensure all designs are production-ready.

Trend Research & Innovation

Conduct ongoing market and trend research.
Analyze luxury fashion brands, runway shows, and consumer trends.
Identify new opportunities in fabrics, silhouettes, detailing, and product categories.
Translate trend insights into commercially successful collections.

Fabric & Material Development

Source premium fabrics, trims, and embellishments.
Work with suppliers and mills to develop exclusive materials.
Ensure fabric selections meet luxury quality standards.
Explore sustainable and innovative material options.

Sampling & Product Development

Manage product development from concept to final sample approval.
Conduct fit sessions and review garment prototypes.
Provide technical corrections and improvements.
Ensure final products meet design, fit, and quality expectations.

Creative Leadership

Contribute to the overall creative direction of the brand.
Maintain consistency across all product categories.
Mentor junior designers and design interns.
Lead brainstorming and collection development sessions.
Foster innovation and excellence within the design team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with:
Merchandising Team
Production Team
Marketing Team
Sourcing Team
Vendor Partners
Support campaign planning, lookbooks, product launches, and fashion presentations.

Required QualificationsEducation

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in:
Fashion Design
Apparel Design
Textile Design
Fashion Technology
Related Design Fields

Experience

7–12 years of experience in fashion design.
Experience designing both menswear and womenswear.
Prior experience in premium, designer, or luxury fashion brands preferred.
Strong portfolio demonstrating collection development and technical expertise.
Experience managing collections from concept to production.
