About SpiceApp
SpiceApp is a US-based restaurant technology platform serving Indian and multicultural restaurant groups across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and surrounding areas. We build a unified ecosystem; Point of Sale, Kitchen Display System, online ordering PWA, payments, and AI-driven analytics that helps restaurant owners run faster, smarter operations. We are bootstrapped, profitable on a per-client basis, and now scaling our team to support our next phase of growth.
We are small, fast-moving team and growing fast. This role sits at the center of that growth: you keep our existing customers running and you help fill the pipeline of new ones.

About this Role
You are the friendly voice on the other end of the phone, for the restaurants we already serve when they need help, and for the restaurants we want to win when we reach out. Support keeps our promise. Sales development fuels our growth. You do both.

Two-thirds of a restaurant's technology pain lands in the first two weeks after they go live, and again during the evening dinner rush. That's when you're on the phones making sure our customers succeed. Earlier in your shift, between the US lunch and dinner rushes; you'll be reaching out to new restaurants, researching them, and booking demos for our sales team. It's a role for someone who is energetic, genuinely enjoys talking to people, stays organized under pressure, and wants to grow with a company that is scaling fast.

What You Will Own
Customer & sales support

Be first response for inbound support — phone and tickets — across POS, kitchen displays, online ordering, payments, printers, and the dashboard. Most of this volume comes during onboarding (a customer's first two weeks live) and the evening dinner rush.
Log every issue as a ticket, track it to resolution, and write a short After-Action Report (AAR) on how it was resolved — so the same problem is never solved from scratch twice.
Turn recurring issues into knowledge-base articles the whole team can reuse.
Handle what you can yourself (how-to questions, configuration, device restarts, menu and printer setup), coordinate onsite dispatch when needed, and escalate cleanly to the tech team for anything that's a real bug.
Cross-functional coordination
You will help with the sales development - to help fill the pipeline
Score and qualify prospective restaurants against our ideal-customer profile (independent, multi-location Indian and multicultural groups — not single locations, not franchises) using research tools and our AI research assistant.
Build a short growth audit for each qualified target — a snapshot of where that restaurant is leaving money or losing efficiency, and how SpiceApp helps — so your outreach leads with value, not a pitch.
Run outbound outreach by cold call and email during the golden calling window (2:30–4:30 PM ET, between the lunch and dinner rush) — the proven high-conversion window for reaching restaurant decision-makers.
Book qualified demo meetings for the sales team.
Keep every touch logged in HubSpot and move deals cleanly through the pipeline stages so nothing falls through the cracks.

Must-Have Qualifications

Excellent spoken and written English: clear, warm, and confident on the phone with US restaurant owners.
A friendly, energetic, service-minded personality. You genuinely like helping people and you don't get rattled when a customer is stressed.
Strong organization and follow-through, you log things properly, you close the loop, and you don't drop tickets or follow-ups.
Willing and able to work the US-aligned night shift onsite in Kochi
Coachable and quick to learn software, you'll master our platform in your first month and become the person customers trust.

Nice to Have

Conversational Hindi (a plus for connecting with some of our south asian restaurant owners).
Prior experience in customer support, a call center / BPO (US or international process), inside sales, telecalling, or appointment-setting.
Familiarity with a CRM or a helpdesk / ticketing tool.
Exposure to restaurants, hospitality, or POS / payments technology.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
