Job Title:Tailor

Location: Ernakulam MG Road, Kerala

Job Summary

The Tailor/Stitcher is responsible for stitching and assembling uniform garments according to approved specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. The role requires accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail to ensure high-quality finished products that meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Operate industrial sewing machines and related equipment efficiently and safely.
Stitch garment components as per approved patterns, measurements, and production specifications.
Ensure proper alignment, fitting, finishing, and quality of stitched garments.
Perform alterations, repairs, and adjustments when required.
Follow production targets and complete assigned work within specified timelines.
Inspect garments during and after stitching to identify and rectify defects.
Maintain consistency in stitching quality across all uniform products.
Coordinate with cutting, quality control, and finishing teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Report machine issues, material shortages, or production concerns to the supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and sewing equipment.
Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and production procedures.
Assist in urgent production requirements and special orders as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Competencies

Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines.
Knowledge of garment construction and tailoring techniques.
Ability to read measurements, patterns, and production instructions.
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently under production deadlines.
Strong commitment to quality and workmanship.
Teamwork and effective communication skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
