Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic Communication & Soft Skills Trainer to make our students industry-ready. You will train IT aspirants in spoken English, professional communication, interview skills, and workplace etiquette. This role requires a clear understanding of how communication and soft skills are actually used and evaluated in IT companies — in technical and HR interview rounds, group discussions, client interactions, and day-to-day teamwork. Prior experience with an ed-tech company or IT training institute is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom and online sessions on spoken English, professional communication, presentation skills, and workplace etiquette
- Conduct interview preparation modules — mock interviews, group discussions, resume building, and self-introduction practice
- Train students on email writing, LinkedIn presence, and professional networking basics
- Use learning technologies (LMS, digital classrooms, online assessment tools) to deliver, track, and evaluate training effectively
- Design and update soft skills curriculum, activities, and assessment rubrics tailored to IT job roles
- Assess student progress through activities, evaluations, and one-on-one feedback sessions
- Coordinate with technical trainers and the placement team to align soft skills training with placement requirements
- Support demo sessions, orientation programs, workshops, and student engagement events
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in English, Communications, or any discipline with relevant certification (soft skills / language training)
- 0–2 years of experience as a soft skills / communication / language trainer
- Strong understanding of how communication and soft skills are used in IT companies is a must — what recruiters and interviewers expect in technical and HR interview rounds, group discussions, client communication, professional emails, and workplace collaboration
- Prior experience with an ed-tech company or IT training institute is a strong advantage
- Excellent spoken and written English; ability to communicate fluently with a Kerala student audience (Malayalam is an advantage)
- Strong stage presence, energy, and the ability to engage young learners
- Comfort with virtual classrooms (Zoom/Google Meet), LMS platforms, and digital learning tools for online delivery
- Certifications such as TEFL/TESOL, Cambridge, or train-the-trainer programs are a plus

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
