Job Summary
The Vice President – Infotech will be responsible for driving the overall technology strategy, digital transformation, enterprise application development, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology operations across all business verticals. The role encompasses software product planning, project management, ERP implementation, IT infrastructure management, network administration, cybersecurity, hardware support, and vendor management to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions that support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Strategy & Digital Transformation
- Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives across all group companies.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
- Establish technology governance, standards, and best practices.
- Prepare annual IT budgets and technology roadmaps.
2. Software Development & Enterprise Applications
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and enhancement of enterprise applications.
- Manage ERP, HRMS, Payroll, CRM, WMS, MRP, Finance, Retail, Manufacturing, and Mobile Applications.
- Oversee software architecture, database design, integrations, APIs, and cloud solutions.
- Ensure successful delivery of projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Review functional specifications and approve system designs.
3. Project Management
- Manage multiple software implementation projects simultaneously.
- Prioritize business requirements from different departments.
- Establish project governance, milestones, and reporting mechanisms.
- Monitor project risks and ensure timely resolution.
- Introduce project management tools and version control systems.
4. IT Infrastructure & Hardware Management
- Design and maintain enterprise-wide IT infrastructure.
- Manage servers (Windows/Linux), virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Oversee LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, internet connectivity, and MPLS networks.
- Manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365, email systems, and file servers.
5. Network & Cybersecurity
- Develop and implement cybersecurity policies.
- Ensure endpoint security and antivirus management.
- Monitor firewalls and network security.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
6. Vendor & Technology Partner Management
- Evaluate and onboard technology vendors.
- Negotiate software licensing and hardware procurement.
- Monitor vendor SLAs and service delivery.
- Coordinate AMC and warranty management.
7. Business Process Improvement
- Study operational workflows.
- Identify automation opportunities.
- Recommend process optimization through technology.
- Standardize enterprise-wide IT processes.
8. IT Operations & Support
- Ensure maximum uptime of critical applications.
- Monitor IT helpdesk performance.
- Define IT service delivery standards.
- Oversee incident, problem, and change management.
- Maintain IT asset inventory.
9. Documentation & Governance
- Develop IT policies and SOPs.
- Maintain system documentation.
- Ensure software documentation and user manuals are updated.
- Prepare management reports and technology dashboards.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics / Computer Engineering.
- Master's Degree (MBA IT / MCA / M.Tech) preferred.
Experience
- 15–20 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 8 years in senior leadership roles.
- Experience managing enterprise software and infrastructure.
- Experience handling multi-location organizations is preferred.
Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
