Job Description

Job Title

Software Tester

We are seeking a results-driven Software Tester to join our team. The Software Tester will be responsible for designing, executing, and evaluating tests to ensure software usability and performance. This role requires close collaboration with the design and development teams to identify issues, analyze test outcomes, and contribute to delivering high-quality software. You may also interact with clients to gather and clarify product requirements.

Responsibilities

Design and execute test cases to evaluate software performance, functionality, and usability.
Identify, document, and report bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in software.
Collaborate with development and design teams to resolve software issues.
Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback and recommendations.
Ensure test environments are prepared and configured correctly.
Create and maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Conduct regression testing to ensure previously fixed issues do not recur.
Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Participate in product requirement discussions to understand client needs and translate them into test objectives.

Requirements

Proven 1+ years of experience as a Software Tester.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design, and test execution.
Familiarity with software development processes, including Agile methodologies.
Proficiency in using testing tools and software (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Appium).
Knowledge of programming languages and scripting (e.g., Python, Java, or similar) is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle software issues.
Good communication skills to effectively convey test results and recommendations.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
At least 1+ year of relevant working experience in Mobile testing or Software Testing.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Qualification

At least 1+ year of relevant working experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent are a plus.
