Full job description

Job Overview:
As a Sales Trainee, you will be responsible for learning about the company's products, sales processes, and customer relationship management strategies. You will receive hands-on training to develop essential skills in sales, communication, and customer service, with the ultimate goal of becoming a full-fledged sales representative. This entry-level position is designed for candidates eager to grow in the field of sales and contribute to the achievement of sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Training:
Participate in company-provided training programs on product knowledge, sales strategies, CRM tools, and customer service techniques.
Shadow experienced sales professionals to understand best practices, customer interaction methods, and sales techniques.
Customer Engagement:
Assist in reaching out to potential customers through phone calls, emails, and social media platforms under the guidance of senior sales staff.
Help identify customer needs and offer solutions that align with the company’s product or service offerings.
Maintain and update customer records in CRM software.
Product Knowledge:
Learn and retain in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services to effectively communicate features, benefits, and value propositions to prospective clients.
Stay updated on product developments, industry trends, and competitor offerings to provide relevant insights to customers.
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Assist in identifying new leads and potential customers through research, cold calling, and networking.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads by assessing their needs and potential fit with the company's offerings.
Sales Support:
Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
Follow up with leads, manage appointments, and help coordinate meetings or product demonstrations.
Customer Relationship Management:
Support efforts to maintain and grow existing customer accounts by following up with clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
Learn how to handle customer objections and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Performance Monitoring:
Meet individual or team goals for lead generation, customer acquisition, or other relevant sales KPIs under supervision.
Regularly report progress to the Sales Manager and seek feedback for professional development.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education: A high school diploma is required; a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to engage with clients and internal teams effectively.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify customer needs and offer appropriate solutions.
Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in client records, sales reporting, and follow-up tasks.
Motivation and Initiative: A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and eagerness to succeed in a sales environment.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to adapt to new sales tools, platforms, and technologies.
Flexibility to travel for client meetings or sales events (if required).
Ability to work under pressure to meet sales targets.
