Facade Designer

Experience: 4+ years

Software: AutoCAD (Autodesk Revit, Autodesk, Autodesk Navisworks optional)

Location: Infopark, Kakkanad, Kochi

Mode of Work: Work from Office

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Facade Designer to join our Facade team. As a Facade Designer , you will be responsible for creating and maintaining Curtain Walls, Cladding, GRC, or any External Facade Systems using Auto cad. You will work closely with the Facade Engineering team and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of projects.

Responsibility:

Review architectural, structural, and façade drawings to understand project requirements and identify potential design issues.

Prepare and review façade shop drawings, GA drawings, elevations, sections, and installation details.

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, façade consultants, and contractors to resolve design and technical queries.

Ensure façade drawings comply with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable industry standards.

Review design revisions, RFIs, and engineering comments, ensuring all changes are incorporated accurately into project documentation.

Participate in design coordination meetings and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Prepare material schedules, panel schedules, and quantity information to support procurement and project planning.

Review fabrication and installation drawings before submission to ensure accuracy, completeness, and constructability.

Mentor and guide junior designers by reviewing their drawings, providing technical feedback, and ensuring compliance with company drafting standards.

Coordinate with internal project teams to ensure timely submission of deliverables while maintaining quality, project schedules, and client expectations.

Skills Required:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architecture or a related field.
4+ years of experience in creating detail Facade drawing using AutoCAD
Strong knowledge of Facade concepts, practices, and software, including AutoCAD if Revit plus point
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with project stakeholders.
Good time management skills to meet project deadlines.
Willingness to learn and stay current with the latest BIM technology and software updates.
