A Logistics Field Executive bridges office operations and on-the-ground execution. They physically monitor shipments, coordinate with transport vendors, and resolve local delivery issues. Typical duties include tracking cargo movement, managing on-site documentation, and ensuring timely deliveries in local markets.

Core Responsibilities

Shipment Tracking: Physically monitor and verify the loading, transit, and unloading of goods.
Vendor & Driver Coordination: Liaise with transport vendors, drivers, and warehouse staff to ensure on-time dispatches.
Documentation: Verify delivery challans, bills of lading, and ensure accurate paperwork at check-points.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot on-the-ground delays, route blockages, or damaged goods during transit.
Reporting: Maintain daily logs on vehicle turnaround times, freight status, and report updates to the logistics manager.

Key Requirements

Education: A bachelor's degree or diploma in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
Experience: 1–3 years in on-ground logistics operations, supply chain, or transportation.
Skills: Strong familiarity with local transport routes, negotiation, basic computer skills (Excel/Google Sheets), and crisis management.
Mobility: Must typically possess a valid two-wheeler driving license and a willingness to travel within the local region (e.g., across the Kolkata/Howrah industrial belts).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
