Full job description

A Quotation Preparation job role typically involves creating accurate price quotations for customers based on their requirements. This role is common in manufacturing, engineering, construction, IT, trading, and sales organizations.

Job Location : Chavakkad

Key Responsibilities

Prepare quotations based on customer inquiries and specifications.
Calculate product or service costs, including materials, labor, taxes, and shipping.
Coordinate with sales, procurement, and technical teams to gather pricing information.
Ensure quotations are accurate, competitive, and submitted on time.
Maintain records of quotations and customer communications.
Revise quotations based on customer feedback or changing requirements.
Follow company pricing policies and approval processes.
Support the sales team during negotiations by providing cost breakdowns.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of costing and pricing methods.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Time management and organizational skills.
Familiarity with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally) is an advantage.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant experience in quotation preparation, estimation, or sales support is often preferred
