The Raj Vasa is a premium resort and convention destination in Ujjain, offering luxury accommodations, destination weddings, corporate events, social celebrations, premium dining, wellness facilities, and curated guest experiences. We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing to drive revenue growth and strengthen our market presence.

Job Summary

The Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing will be responsible for generating room, banquet, wedding, restaurant, and event business while maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, event planners, wedding planners, government organizations, and key accounts. The role demands a proactive sales professional capable of meeting ambitious revenue targets and enhancing the hotel's brand positioning.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development

Generate new business for:
Room Sales
Corporate Bookings
MICE Business
Destination Weddings
Social Events
Banquet Sales
Restaurant Events
Long Stay Guests
Identify new market opportunities.
Conduct regular client visits and sales calls.
Develop strategic partnerships.
Increase market penetration in nearby cities.

Corporate Sales

Acquire new corporate accounts.
Maintain relationships with existing clients.
Negotiate corporate contracts.
Handle rate negotiations.
Ensure repeat business.
Manage annual corporate agreements.

Wedding & Social Event Sales

Generate destination wedding enquiries.
Coordinate with wedding planners.
Conduct property presentations.
Prepare customized proposals.
Follow up until conversion.
Maximize banquet revenues.

Travel Trade & OTA Relations

Build relationships with:
Travel Agents
Tour Operators
DMCs
Online Travel Partners
Promote hotel packages.
Participate in travel exhibitions.
Generate leisure bookings.

Sales Planning

Prepare monthly sales plans.
Maintain sales pipeline.
Forecast revenue.
Track lead conversion.
Maintain sales MIS.
Submit daily activity reports.

Client Relationship Management

Conduct regular client meetings.
Organize hotel site inspections.
Handle client complaints professionally.
Ensure high customer satisfaction.
Develop long-term business relationships.

Marketing Coordination

Coordinate with the marketing team for:

Digital campaigns

Print advertisements
Wedding campaigns

Revenue Generation

Required Qualifications

Prior experience in wedding and banquet sales is an advantage.
