Job Description – Project Coordinator (IT)

Position: Project Coordinator – IT
Experience: 3+ Years
Location: Madurai
Employment Type: Full-Time
Department: Project Management Office (PMO) / Software Delivery
Reporting To: Project Manager / Delivery Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Coordinator with 3+ years of experience in software development and IT project coordination. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating multiple software projects, managing project timelines, facilitating communication between clients and technical teams, tracking deliverables, and ensuring successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate end-to-end IT and software development projects.
Work closely with clients, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, UI/UX Designers, QA Teams, and stakeholders.
Monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
Conduct project status meetings and prepare meeting minutes (MoM).
Track project progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Coordinate requirement gathering, documentation, and project planning activities.
Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Maintain project documentation, reports, and dashboards.
Monitor resource allocation and team utilization.
Ensure projects follow Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies as applicable.
Assist in sprint planning, backlog tracking, and release coordination.
Provide regular project status updates to management and clients.
Support UAT coordination, deployment planning, and project closure activities.
Ensure quality standards and project governance processes are followed.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project methodologies.
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong project planning and task-tracking abilities.
Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, or Monday.com.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
Experience preparing project reports, MIS reports, and project documentation.

Experience handling software development and digital transformation projects.
Experience in client communication and offshore/onshore project coordination.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
