Full job description

We are seeking a passionate, caring, and enthusiastic Pre-Primary Teacher to join our preschool team. The ideal candidate should be committed to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where young children can develop academically, socially, emotionally, and creatively. The teacher will plan and conduct age-appropriate learning activities that foster curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons based on the preschool curriculum.
Create a safe, positive, and child-friendly classroom environment.
Conduct interactive learning activities, storytelling, rhymes, music, dance, art, and craft sessions.
Encourage children's cognitive, emotional, social, physical, and language development.
Observe, assess, and record each child's progress and developmental milestones.
Maintain classroom discipline using positive reinforcement techniques.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, learning materials, and classroom displays.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and overall development.
Organize celebrations, events, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
Ensure the health, hygiene, and safety of children at all times.
Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and school events.
Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, coordinators, and school management.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, workshops, and parent-teacher meetings.
Follow all school policies, child protection guidelines, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Any Degree
Freshers with a passion for teaching are encouraged to apply.
Previous experience in a preschool, kindergarten, or primary school is an added advantage.
Certification in Montessori or Early Childhood Education is preferred.

Required Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong classroom management abilities.
Creativity in lesson planning and activity-based learning.
Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude toward children.
Good observation and child assessment skills.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, digital teaching tools).
Ability to build positive relationships with children and parents.
Time management and organizational skills.
