Job Summary
Krishna Group Service is looking for an active and responsible Shift Supervisor / Reliever for our operations at the Continental Tire plant in Modipuram. The primary role is to manage daily workforce shifts and act as a backup (reliever) supervisor. You will step in to cover for other shift supervisors during their absence, weekly offs, or leave, ensuring that production and manpower management run smoothly without any interruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Relief Management: Take full charge of a shift whenever regular shift supervisors are on leave, off-duty, or absent.
- Manpower Coordination: Oversee the daily attendance, deployment, and allocation of contractual workers across different sections of the tire manufacturing plant.
- Shift Handover: Ensure smooth shift handovers by communicating pending tasks, production updates, and manpower availability to the next shift team.
- On-Floor Supervision: Monitor workers on the shop floor to ensure they maintain discipline, follow safety guidelines, and meet daily production targets.
- Attendance & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of worker attendance, shift rotations, and daily reports. Report any operational issues or shortage of labor to the management immediately.
- Problem Solving: Act as the first point of contact for workers to resolve any operational, safety, or timing issues during the shift.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Experience: Prior experience as a supervisor or reliever in a manufacturing unit (experience in a tire or rubber factory is a plus).
- Leadership: Strong ability to manage, guide, and handle a large team of industrial workers.
- Communication: Simple and clear communication skills in Hindi and basic English to coordinate with workers and plant management.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in rotational shifts (Morning, Evening, and Night shifts) as per plant requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Quick thinker who can handle unexpected supervisor absences and reassign duties efficiently.
