As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager – Sales & Marketing to lead our commercial operations and drive business expansion across domestic and international markets.
Position Summary
The Senior Manager – Sales & Marketing will be responsible for leading the company's sales, marketing, business development, customer relationship management, and commercial growth initiatives. The role requires a strategic leader who can build a high-performance sales culture while actively driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening customer relationships.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in B2B industrial sales, preferably within the stainless steel, metal, engineering, piping, valves, fittings, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership
- Develop and execute annual, quarterly, and monthly sales strategies.
- Achieve company sales and profitability targets.
- Lead and mentor the Domestic Sales, Export Sales, Government Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Lead Generation teams.
- Establish individual sales targets and monitor team performance.
- Conduct weekly sales review meetings and monthly performance evaluations.
- Build a performance-driven and accountable sales culture.
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across India and international markets.
- Expand business with EPC contractors, OEMs, pharmaceutical companies, food processing companies, dairy plants, chemical industries, engineering companies, and industrial fabricators.
- Develop dealer, distributor, and channel partner networks.
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and strategic customers.
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and retention.
- Resolve major customer concerns and commercial issues.
- Drive repeat business and long-term customer partnerships.
Commercial Management
- Approve pricing strategies, commercial proposals, and major quotations.
- Monitor sales margins and profitability.
- Forecast sales and prepare revenue projections.
- Review market pricing and competitor activities.
- Recommend strategies to improve market share and profitability.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives.
- Support participation in industrial exhibitions and trade fairs.
- Strengthen the company's brand presence across online and offline channels.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to generate qualified sales leads.
Team Development
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
- Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the sales function.
- Establish measurable KPIs for each team member.
- Encourage continuous learning and professional development.
Internal Coordination
- Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Quality Assurance, Dispatch, Procurement, Finance, and Management to ensure smooth execution of customer orders.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting for production planning.
- Monitor order execution and timely deliveries.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Monitor sales pipeline and conversion ratios.
- Maintain CRM discipline across the sales team.
- Present business performance reports to the Promoters/Directors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing or Sales will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 8–15 years of experience in B2B industrial sales.
- At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Experience in stainless steel, steel, pipes, tubes, valves, fittings, engineering products, industrial equipment, or related manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
