Job Overview
The Student Coordinator will be the primary point of contact between students, faculty and the institute. The role involves ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of UPSC batches, addressing student concerns, coordinating academic activities and maintaining a positive and disciplined learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Coordination & Support

Act as the primary point of contact for students regarding classes, schedules, study material, tests, mentorship and other academic requirements.
Handle student queries through calls, WhatsApp and other communication channels.
Identify student concerns and coordinate with the relevant department/faculty for timely resolution.
Maintain regular communication with students regarding important academic updates and announcements.
Follow up with students wherever necessary to ensure their concerns are resolved.

2. Batch & Class Management

Coordinate the day-to-day functioning of assigned UPSC batches.
Prepare and communicate class schedules, timetable changes, holidays and special sessions.
Coordinate with faculty regarding lecture schedules, class requirements and session-related arrangements.
Ensure classes, doubt sessions, mentorship sessions and special lectures are conducted smoothly.
Monitor classroom discipline and ensure a conducive learning environment.

3. Tests & Academic Activities

Coordinate the smooth conduct of tests, quizzes, answer-writing sessions and evaluations.
Ensure timely communication of test schedules, instructions and results.
Coordinate the distribution/uploading of study material, test papers, answer keys and other academic resources.
Maintain records of student performance, attendance and participation.
Flag students requiring additional academic attention to the concerned faculty/mentor.

4. Student Feedback & Grievance Handling

Regularly collect student feedback regarding faculty, classes, study material and overall academic experience.
Identify recurring student issues and escalate them to management with actionable feedback.
Handle student grievances professionally and ensure appropriate follow-up.
Maintain confidentiality while dealing with student-related information.

5. Faculty & Internal Coordination

Coordinate between students, faculty, mentors, content teams and administration.
Ensure faculty members are informed about relevant student concerns and batch requirements.
Assist in organizing orientations, seminars, workshops, guest lectures and other academic events.
Ensure all promised academic deliverables are communicated and provided to students on time.

6. Student Engagement & Retention

Build a strong relationship with students and understand their academic requirements.
Regularly engage with students to understand their preparation challenges.
Encourage students to remain consistent with classes, tests and other academic activities.
Help create a positive student experience that improves engagement and retention.

7. Data & Reporting

Maintain accurate student databases, attendance records, batch-wise information and feedback records.
Prepare regular reports on attendance, student concerns, test participation and other relevant parameters.
Use MS Excel/Google Sheets and other digital tools for maintaining and analysing student data.
Track pending student issues and ensure timely closure.
