RECRUITMENT NOTIFICATION

Office Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administrative and clerical support to the assigned department/office.
Draft, type, and manage official correspondence, circulars, and notices.
Maintain and update files, registers, and records (physical and digital) in an organized manner.
Coordinate and liaise between various departments for smooth flow of information.
Handle incoming and outgoing dak (mail), including receipt, dispatch, and diary/despatch register maintenance.
Attend to front-desk and reception duties, including handling visitor and telephone enquiries, as required.
Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing minutes, and maintaining office calendars.
Support documentation for audits, inspections, and administrative reporting.
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the reporting authority.

Required Qualifications

Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University; higher qualification will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in typing (English) with a minimum speed as prescribed by the University.
Working knowledge of computer applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, email correspondence).

Desired Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Good organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and general office equipment (scanner, printer, photocopier).
Ability to multitask, maintain confidentiality, and work under supervision.
Pleasant and professional demeanor with a service-oriented attitude.
