Full job description

Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets in the marine fuel testing industry.
Identify and target potential clients, such as shipping companies, fuel suppliers, ports, and other relevant entities involved in the marine industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their fuel testing needs and providing tailored solutions.
Lead the sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure sales objectives are met or exceeded.
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive analysis, using insights to drive effective marketing campaigns.
Plan and execute marketing initiatives, including digital marketing campaigns, industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company's fuel testing services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as laboratory operations and technical experts, to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and generate reports for management, providing insights on sales trends, customer feedback, and areas for improvement.
Stay updated on industry regulations and standards related to marine fuel quality and testing, ensuring compliance and providing guidance to clients.
Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, optimizing resources and tracking ROI on marketing initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A background in marine engineering or knowledge of marine fuels is advantageous.
Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the marine fuel testing industry or a related field.
Strong understanding of marine fuel quality standards, testing methods, and relevant regulations such as ISO 8217.
Demonstrated ability to provide guidance, lead and motivate a sales team, driving results and achieving sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric mindset.
Proficiency in market research and analysis, using data-driven insights to guide sales and marketing strategies.
Knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, including website management, content marketing, SEO, and email marketing.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of fuel testing services.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and competitive industry, with a willingness to travel as needed.

Pay: From ₹1,500,000.00 per year
