Full job description

Job Summary (Operations Associate)

We are looking for an Operations Associate to support our daily business operations at Karaikal to ensure smooth and efficient processes across departments. This role involves purchase, logistics coordination, customs documentation, delivery at port, administrative support, process improvement, and problem-solving to enhance overall operational performance.

Candidates with any degree or diploma are eligible to apply. Prior experience in a similar role will be an advantage; however, fresh graduates with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day operational activities
Procure items listed based on provided budget
Co-ordinate supply chain processes with Transportation Supplier and Labours
Obtain port entry permission through the necessary customs & port documentation
Maintain operational records and prepare reports
Assist in process improvements and efficiency initiatives
Handle vendor communication and documentation
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Resolve operational issues in a timely manner

Required Qualification:

Education: Any degree or diploma (preferably in Logistics, Shipping, or Business Management).
Experience: 2–5 years (experience in marine/logistics is an added advantage).
Computer Skills: Basic MS Excel, email communication.
Language: Proficiency in English

Strong coordination and communication skills.
Good documentation and follow-up ability.
Attention to detail and problem-solving approach.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced marine environment.

Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Negotiable, based on qualification and experience)
