About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Product Manager (APM) to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be a key player in developing innovative software products for the Pharma Commercial domain. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, startup environment. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to build and launch products that help pharmaceutical companies optimize their commercial strategies and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development & Strategy: Support the full product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and post-launch analysis.

AI Product Development: Help define and build AI-powered features that leverage complex datasets to provide actionable insights for commercial teams.

Requirements Management: Work with stakeholders to define, document, and prioritize product requirements. Translate business needs into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Maintain and manage the product backlog.

Data and Compliance: Understand and work with key pharma commercial datasets, such as prescription data (e.g., IQVIA, HealthVerity, etc.), patient claims data, and sales data. Ensure all data handling and product features comply with relevant regulations like HIPAA, GDPR, and 21 CFR Part 11.

Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives). Work closely with engineering, data science, and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly.

Market & User Research: Conduct research to understand the needs of pharmaceutical commercial teams, including sales representatives, marketing managers, and market access professionals. Analyze market trends and competitor products to identify new opportunities.

Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders. Effectively communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to internal and external audiences.

Data Analysis: Use data and user feedback to inform product decisions, define success metrics, and measure the impact of new features.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences).

1-2 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related role, preferably in a B2B software in a startup environment. Experience with or strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is a significant plus.

AI/ML Acumen: Foundational understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and how they can be applied to solve business problems. Ability to work with data scientists and engineers to define and build AI-powered features.

Data Fluency: Familiarity with pharmaceutical commercial datasets (e.g., sales, prescription, claims data) and the ability to work with data teams to analyze and leverage this information.

Compliance Awareness: Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations in the pharmaceutical and healthcare space, including HIPAA, GDPR, and FDA guidelines (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11).

Agile Methodology: A solid understanding of agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Requirements Management: Ability to work with stakeholders to define, document, and prioritize product requirements.

Technical Aptitude: Comfortable working with technical teams and understanding software development concepts.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Attention to details, biased for quality and client centricity.

Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
