Full job description

KITCO is a multi-disciplinary Engineering, Management and Technical consulting firm that brings innovative solutions to the challenges faced by your business. A strong planning and engineering department enables KITCO to offer consultancy service under one roof from concept to commissioning.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer for an airport expansion project. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with international aviation standards, project specifications, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements.

The role focuses on maintaining high standards of safety, durability, and performance by implementing systematic quality control procedures, inspections, testing, and compliance checks throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and ensure compliance with approved quality standards, project specifications, and construction procedures.
Conduct site inspections and quality audits for civil construction activities.
Verify materials, workmanship, and construction practices to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
Coordinate and supervise laboratory testing of construction materials.
Maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, test records, and non-conformance reports.
Identify quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with international aviation standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
Coordinate with contractors and project teams regarding quality-related matters.
Review method statements, quality plans, and inspection test plans (ITP).
Support continuous improvement initiatives to minimize defects and improve project quality.

Requirements:

Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in quality control and laboratory testing/ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control and laboratory testing.
Experience in airport, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects is preferred.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance procedures, material testing, and construction standards.
Familiarity with international standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
Good communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
