BRAND STRATEGIST – D2CEmployment Details

Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Schedule: Monday–Saturday | 10:00 AM–8:00 PM
Reporting To: Founder / Management
Team Support: Video Editor + Graphic Designer

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and highly creative Brand Strategist – D2C to take complete ownership of the brand's direction, positioning, and growth across social media, website, creators, campaigns, product launches, visual identity, and customer communication.

This is a high-ownership brand role, not a social-media-only position. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in product-based D2C brands and the ability to independently convert brand objectives into strategies, campaigns, and execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Brand Strategy & Positioning

Own the overall brand positioning, vision, personality, tone of voice, and visual direction.
Maintain consistency across all customer touchpoints.
Develop strong brand themes, content pillars, messaging frameworks, and communication strategies.
Ensure every campaign and piece of content aligns with the overall brand identity.

2. Social Media Strategy

Lead the complete organic social media strategy across relevant platforms.
Develop monthly content calendars covering reels, stories, static posts, campaigns, and other formats.
Identify emerging trends, formats, and content opportunities relevant to the target audience.
Review social media performance and continuously improve content strategy based on data and insights.

3. Website & Customer Experience

Own the brand and customer-experience direction of the website.
Provide strategic inputs for homepage, product pages, landing pages, messaging, visuals, merchandising, and CRO initiatives.
Ensure website communication is aligned with brand positioning and customer expectations.
Identify opportunities to improve the overall customer journey and conversion.

4. Campaigns & Product Launches

Conceptualise and execute brand campaigns, seasonal campaigns, promotional moments, and new-product launches.
Develop campaign concepts, messaging, creative direction, execution plans, and timelines.
Ensure campaigns are consistently executed across social media, website, creators, and other relevant channels.
Measure campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

5. Influencer & Creator Management

Own the complete influencer/creator function from research to final deliverables.
Conduct daily creator research and identify relevant creators based on audience, content quality, positioning, and brand fit.
Manage creator outreach, negotiations, selection, product mapping, briefing, follow-ups, approvals, and usage rights.
Manage 30–40 influencer collaborations per month.
Maintain and continuously build a strong, relevant creator pipeline.
Proactively identify new creator and content opportunities and present recommendations to the Founder/Management.

6. Influencer-Led Campaigns

Conceptualise and execute a minimum of 2 innovative influencer-led campaigns every month.
Own the complete process from campaign ideation and creator selection to briefing, execution, approvals, launch, and performance review.
Develop unique creator concepts that strengthen brand awareness, engagement, and product discovery.

7. Creative Team Management

Direct and coordinate the Video Editor and Graphic Designer.
Create clear and detailed creative briefs with objectives, references, deadlines, and expected outcomes.
Set priorities and timelines for creative deliverables.
Review all creative output and ensure it meets the required brand and quality standards.
Provide constructive feedback and ensure timely execution.

8. Research & Insights

Conduct regular competitor, category, consumer, and trend research.
Track competitor activities, content strategies, campaigns, creator collaborations, and market trends.
Convert research and insights into actionable brand, content, and campaign strategies.
Monitor customer feedback, reviews, comments, and audience behaviour to improve communication and brand experience.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Age: 24 years.
Minimum 3 years of full-time experience with product-based D2C / consumer brands.
Agency-only experience will not be considered equivalent to product-based D2C experience.
Strong hands-on experience in:
Brand Strategy
Social Media
Influencer & Creator Management
Campaign Planning
Product Launches
Content Strategy
Strong understanding of D2C websites, Shopify, customer journeys, product positioning, and conversion-focused communication.
Excellent visual judgement and strong understanding of brand aesthetics.
Strong copywriting and messaging sense.
Good understanding of consumer behaviour and audience psychology.
Ability to independently manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders.
Must be comfortable taking ownership, giving clear feedback, rejecting weak creative work, and maintaining high brand standards.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Candidates with experience in the following categories will be preferred:
