Role Title: Senior Identity & Access Management IAM Expert
Engagement Type: Project-based resource support
Expected Effort: Approximately 14.5 person days across a duration of around 10 weeks.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior IAM Expert to support the Identity & Access Management. The
resource will support the implementation of IAM-related components within a multi regional Azure cloud platform environment.
The selected candidate is expected to be fully embedded within the project team and
actively participate in project delivery, technical discussions, validation activities, and IAM related decision support. The resource should work collaboratively with the project
stakeholders and contribute directly to the successful delivery of IAM scope.
Key Responsibilities
1. IAM Setup and Configuration
- Support the setup and configuration of Identity & Access Management components
within the Azure cloud platform.
- Create and configure Azure AD groups based on the project requirements.
- Configure roles and role assignments in alignment with the required access model.
- Support the creation and configuration of app registrations.
- Support the creation and configuration of service principals required for platform
and application integration
2. Governance, Review and Validation
- Review IAM-related design and implementation topics.
- Validate IAM configurations against the agreed project requirements.
- Provide technical sign-off support for IAM-related deliverables.
- Ensure IAM decisions and configurations are aligned with the broader cloud
platform architecture.

3. Project Delivery Support
- Participate actively in project delivery discussions and technical alignment
sessions.
- Work closely with the project team, technical leads, and stakeholders to ensure IAM
requirements are properly understood and implemented.
- Provide expert guidance on IAM-related risks, dependencies, and implementation
considerations.
- Support validation activities during project execution.
4. Integration Support
- Ensure IAM implementation aligns with the overall Azure cloud platform
architecture.
- Support integration topics where IAM components such as groups, roles, app
registrations, and service principals are involved.
- Help ensure IAM setup is suitable as per the Customer standards
Required Skills and Experience
Mandatory Skills
- Strong end-to-end understanding of Identity & Access Management IAM.
- Hands-on knowledge of Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID concepts such as groups,
roles, app registrations, and service principals.
- Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code.
- General cloud platform expertise.
- Ability to review, validate, and provide sign-off support for IAM-related topics.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in Azure cloud platform implementation projects.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional project teams, technical architects,
and customer stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills for technical discussions, clarification sessions, and
validation meetings.

Expected Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be a senior-level IAM professional with strong practical
knowledge of IAM implementation in Azure-based environments. The candidate should be
capable of understanding project requirements, translating them into IAM configuration
needs, supporting validation and governance activities, and working closely with the
project team throughout the delivery lifecycle.
The candidate should be comfortable working in an embedded project model where active
participation, ownership, and technical contribution are expected.

Shortlisted candidates should be proposed for review, followed by short technical
interviews to validate fitment against the IAM, Terraform, Azure cloud, and project delivery
requirements.

A. IAM Requirement Understanding and Alignment
The partner resource should review and understand the IAM requirements for Project,
including the expected Azure platform IAM setup, integration requirements, and project
delivery expectations.

- Understanding of existing / legacy Customer IAM environment context.
- Gap or dependency inputs related to IAM implementation.
- Inputs for adapting IAM setup to Customer standards.
B. IAM Design Review and Recommendation
The resource should support the review of IAM design topics and provide
recommendations where required.

- Review comments on IAM approach, risks, assumptions, and dependencies.

C. Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID Configuration Support
The resource is expected to support IAM setup and configuration activities.

- Azure AD / Entra ID group configuration support.
- Role and role assignment setup / validation.
- App registration setup / validation.
- Service principal setup / validation.
- Configuration evidence or implementation records, wherever applicable.

D. Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code Support

service principals.
E. Governance, Validation and Sign-Off Support

- IAM validation checklist.
- Review comments and closure status.
- Sign-off inputs for IAM-related deliverables.
- Risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies register for IAM scope.
- Confirmation that IAM setup aligns with the agreed cloud platform architecture.
F. Integration Alignment with Cloud Platform Architecture
Expected deliverables:
- IAM integration review inputs.
- Alignment notes with cloud platform architecture.
- Dependency tracking with application, platform, security, and infrastructure teams.
- Support for resolving IAM integration gaps.
G. Project Participation and Technical Support
Since the resource is expected to be fully embedded in the team and actively participate in
project delivery and validation, participation itself should be treated as a trackable
deliverable.
