Job Title: Senior Nurse

Job Description:
As a Senior Nurse at Manipal Hospitals, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while demonstrating exceptional nursing skills and leadership abilities. You will supervise and guide nursing staff, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and standards of care. Collaborating closely with medical professionals, you will assess patient needs, develop care plans, administer medications, and monitor patient progress. You will also play a key role in educating patients and families about health management and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care and support, ensuring comfort and safety.
Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff, assisting with professional development.
Conduct patient assessments, including physical exams and medical history review.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, maintaining accurate records.
Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team promptly.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and standards of practice.

Skills and Tools Required:

Registered Nurse (RN) license, with a Bachelor?s degree in Nursing preferred.
Proven experience in a clinical setting, with at least 3-5 years in a nursing role.
Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Leadership skills and the ability to mentor nursing staff effectively.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and patient management software.
Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
