Job Description (JD) – Technician

Position: Technician

Job Summary

Andison Global LLP is seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities at project sites in and around Devprayag, Uttarakhand. The ideal candidate should possess technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems.
Diagnose technical faults and carry out corrective actions.
Conduct preventive maintenance as per schedules.
Ensure proper functioning of tools, machinery, and site equipment.
Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
Follow company safety procedures and site regulations.
Coordinate with supervisors and project teams for timely completion of tasks.
Report equipment issues and recommend improvements.
Support commissioning and testing activities when required.
Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
Perform general electrical maintenance.
Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
Good knowledge of various test equipment.

Required Qualifications

ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related technical field.
1–3 years of relevant technician experience .
Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and work instructions.
Knowledge of safety standards and maintenance practices.

Skills Required

Troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Basic computer and reporting skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in field conditions and remote project locations.
Time management and attention to detail.

Preferred Requirements

Experience working on infrastructure, utility, renewable energy, or industrial projects.
Valid driving license will be an added advantage.
Willingness to travel within the project area as required.
