Department: Finance & Accounts

Experience: 10–12 Years of experience in accountancy.

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 10–12 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations, preparing financial statements, managing audits, and supporting financial planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting.
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
Manage statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable regulations.
Coordinate internal and external audits and address audit observations.
Prepare schedules and documentation required for statutory, tax, and internal audits.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial controls.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within finance functions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance.
CA, CMA, CPA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.
10–12 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
Experience in handling statutory audits and compliance.
Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Tally ERP/TallyPrime.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
