Community Manager

Location: Chennai (Hybrid / Field)

Education: Graduate degree in Public Relations, Communications, Psychology, or Management.

Alternative Path: We value candidates with a Liberal Arts background or those who led major University Festivals/Clubs, as they already understand "community building."

Certifications (Bonus):

Certified Community Manager (C-CM).
Public Speaking or Personality Development diplomas.

Role Mission

To turn ZOZOconnect into the "operating system" for networking acrossIndia. You aren't just signing MoUs; you are building the infrastructure that connects the next generation of student-founders with global leaders. Your goal is to embed ZOZO into the DNA of every major institution and startup hub.

Strategic Responsibilities1. Institutional Alliances (The "Campus-to-Career" Pipeline)

Strategic Prospecting: Identify and penetrate Tier-1 and Tier-2 engineering/management institutions and incubation cells.
MoU Engineering: Move beyond "paper signatures." Design active MoUs that include ZOZO as the official networking partner for college symposiums and placement cells.
Campus Ambassador Framework: Recruit and lead a "ZOZO Elite" student cohort to drive peer-to-peer adoption of the Zozo Dot/Buddy.

2. Startup & Founder Ecosystem Growth

Hub Collaborations: Secure deep integrations with coworking spaces (Innov8, Workafella), Accelerators, and VC networks.
Co-branded Value Props: Create "ZOZO Member Perks"—exclusive access for startup founders in these networks to the ZOZO World Summit.
Network Hijacking: Represent ZOZO at major demo days and ecosystem mixers to onboard high-profile leaders as "Ecosystem Anchors."

3. Framework & Revenue Alignment

Monetization Architecture: Develop and sell "Institutional Subscription Packages" where colleges provide ZOZO tools to their entire final-year batch.
ROI Tracking: Use CRM data to prove how many connections are being made via your partnerships, ensuring long-term contract renewals.
Strategic Onboarding: Design the "First 30 Days" journey for a partner institution to ensure the product is actually used, not just bought.

Candidate Profile:

The Negotiator: You can navigate a meeting with a high-ranking University Dean in the morning and a high-growth Startup Founder in the afternoon.
Structural Thinker: You don't just "talk"; you document. You understand the legalities of MoUs and the technicalities of a subscription-based rollout.
The Operator: 2–5 years of experience in Ecosystem Management, Incubation, or High-Level BD.
Travel-Ready: You thrive on the field. You know that real partnerships are built in person, not over Zoom.
