Position: Front Office Associate

Department: Front Office
Industry: Hospitality / Hotel
Reports To: Front Office Manager / Front Office Supervisor

Job Summary

The Front Office Associate is responsible for providing a warm, professional, and efficient welcome to hotel guests. The role involves managing check-ins and check-outs, handling guest requests and queries, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and greet guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, policies, and local attractions.
Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and complaints.
Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and other departments to fulfill guest requirements.
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment procedures accurately.
Maintain guest records and update information in the hotel Property Management System (PMS).
Prepare and maintain front office reports and documents.
Manage telephone calls, emails, and other guest communications professionally.
Assist guests with luggage, transportation, wake-up calls, and other services when required.
Maintain confidentiality of guest information and follow hotel security procedures.
Promote hotel services and facilities to enhance the guest experience.
Follow hotel standards, SOPs, and health and safety guidelines.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
Previous experience in a hotel front office role is preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer-service orientation.
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with PMS is an advantage.
Good English communication skills; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Good problem-solving and complaint-handling skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
