Full job description

GL Infotech is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Head to lead our field sales and business development initiatives. The ideal candidate should be a strategic leader with strong communication, negotiation, and team management skills. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, leading the sales team, and achieving the company's revenue targets through effective field sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement field sales strategies to achieve the company's revenue and business growth objectives.
Identify and develop new business opportunities through direct client visits, networking, and market research.
Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to build strong business relationships and close deals.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
Prepare sales plans, set team targets, and monitor performance to ensure business objectives are achieved.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and high customer satisfaction.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new business opportunities.
Expand the company's presence by exploring new markets and strengthening existing customer relationships.
Review sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline activities, and present regular performance updates to the management.
Recruit, mentor, and train the sales team to improve productivity and overall performance.
Represent GL Infotech at client meetings, business events, exhibitions, and networking programmes.
Ensure timely follow-up with prospects, contract negotiations, and successful closure of business opportunities.
Develop sales policies and processes to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
Ensure the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage).
4–10 years of experience in marketing, with experience in a leadership or managerial role preferred.
Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive business growth.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and motivate teams.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in handling client meetings, understanding business requirements, and building long-term client relationships.
Ability to coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a results-oriented mindset.
Ability to manage multiple projects, marketing budgets, and deadlines effectively.
Willingness to represent the company at client meetings, networking events, exhibitions, and business development activities.
Experience in the IT industry will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
