EXR Games & Academy is a specialized gaming education institution focused on professional training in Unity Game Development, Unreal Engine, AR/VR, and related emerging technologies. We are building a career-focused ecosystem for aspiring game developers and creative technology professionals.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and target-oriented Admission Counsellor to join our admissions and sales team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for connecting with prospective students, understanding their career goals, counselling them on suitable programs, handling objections, following up with leads, and converting qualified prospects into enrolled students.

This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about education, sales, gaming, technology, and student counselling.

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound leads generated through digital marketing, social media, website, webinars, and other channels.
Contact prospective students through phone calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
Understand students' educational background, interests, career goals, and financial considerations.
Explain EXR's courses, curriculum, career opportunities, learning methodology, fees, EMI options, and admission process.
Conduct effective counselling sessions and recommend the most suitable program.
Convert qualified leads into confirmed admissions.
Follow up consistently with interested and undecided prospects.
Handle objections related to fees, career opportunities, course duration, job prospects, online/offline learning, and parental concerns.
Maintain accurate lead and follow-up records in the CRM.
Achieve individual monthly admission and revenue targets.
Coordinate with the Academic and Accounts teams during the admission and onboarding process.
Participate in counselling sessions, webinars, seminars, workshops, and promotional events when required.
Maintain strong relationships with students and parents throughout the admission journey.
Provide regular reports on lead status, follow-ups, conversions, and revenue.
Continuously improve sales performance through product knowledge, counselling skills, and sales training.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum +2 / Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
6 Months–2 years of experience in admission counselling, educational sales, telecalling, BDE, or inside sales.
Freshers with strong communication and sales ability may also apply.
Excellent Malayalam and English communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and counselling skills.
Comfortable making a high volume of calls and follow-ups.
Target-oriented and motivated by performance-based incentives.
Good persuasion, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
Basic knowledge of CRM, Google Sheets, WhatsApp Business, and MS Office.
Passion or interest in gaming, technology, game development, or education will be an advantage.
Candidates from Kerala are preferred.
