KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ linguistic, physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.

Administer therapeutic interventions and modalities to improve patients’ speech, language skills, and swallowing.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and others, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
Design and implement specialized rehabilitation programs for patients with neurological conditions.
Provide pediatric therapy for different child communication disorders.
Provide dysphagia assessment and management for different populations.
Educate patients, caregivers, and families on home training.
Monitor patients’ progress, conduct periodic evaluations, and modify treatment plans accordingly to optimize outcomes.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
