About the Role
Aharada Education is seeking a skilled and passionate Drone Technician & Instructor to join our growing Drone Training and Technology Division. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in drone assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and flight operations and be capable of teaching students practical drone technology and applications.
This role combines technical expertise with teaching responsibilities, making it ideal for professionals who enjoy working with cutting-edge UAV technology and mentoring future drone pilots and technicians.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Responsibilities
- Assemble and configure drones from individual components.
- Perform drone maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and system diagnostics.
- Install, calibrate, and test flight controllers, GPS modules, ESCs, motors, batteries, and communication systems.
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections.
- Maintain drone inventory, spare parts, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with DGCA regulations and safety standards.
- Assist in developing drone prototypes and custom UAV solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation, maintenance logs, and service records.
Training & Teaching Responsibilities
- Deliver practical and classroom-based drone technology training.
- Teach drone assembly, maintenance, repair, and flight operations.
- Demonstrate drone components, sensors, communication systems, and payload integration.
- Train students on UAV safety procedures and operational best practices.
- Conduct hands-on workshops, lab sessions, and field training exercises.
- Assess student performance and provide technical guidance.
- Develop training materials, practical assignments, and project-based learning activities.
Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualification
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Aviation, or related fields.
- Certified Drone Pilot or DGCA-approved certifications will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in drone assembly, repair, maintenance, or UAV operations.
- Experience as a Drone Trainer, UAV Technician, Drone Pilot, or Robotics Instructor is preferred.
- Freshers with exceptional drone-building and technical skills may also apply.
Required Skills
- Drone assembly and integration.
- UAV maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Flight controller configuration (Pixhawk, Ardupilot, PX4, etc.).
- Knowledge of drone electronics and communication systems.
- Drone flight operations and mission planning.
- Battery management and power systems.
- Strong teaching, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Problem-solving and technical documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate.
- Experience with agricultural, survey, mapping, surveillance, or industrial drones.
- Knowledge of GIS, drone mapping software, and mission planning tools.
- Experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, IoT, or Robotics projects.
