Job Title: Intern – QA (1 Years duration)
Your mission at Irdeto:
- Responsible for testing and integration of various components of the OTT platform, including APIs, CDN, packager, UI and third-party services.
- Identify requirements, document, and track reported software defects using bug tracking tools.
- Refer to technical documents and contribute to test coverage by drafting test cases and tracking their execution.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Required to work closely with leads to ensure the quality of releases are maintained as per the standards.
- Work with API testing tools.
How can you add value to the team?
- Actively assisting with integration testing and complex problem-solving.
- Monitor and analyze test results, provide meaningful feedback, and contribute to root cause analysis.
- Proficiency with the test management tools like Jira, Test Rail etc.
- Working with Postman or similar API testing tools.
- Ability to produce well-organized and easily accessible documentation in Confluence.
- Understanding of testing standards, scripting languages (e.g. Python, Selenium etc.) and automation tools is a plus.
- Good to have basic knowledge of version control systems ex. GitHub.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- B. E. or B. Tech (Computer Science, Electronics and Communication)
