Role Overview
We are looking for a creative, strategic, and experienced Senior Video Editor / Social Media In-Charge to lead the school's digital content creation and social media presence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality video content, managing all social media platforms, driving engagement, and strengthening the school's brand through innovative storytelling and digital marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production & Creative Content
Lead end-to-end video production, including planning, shooting, editing, colour grading, sound design, and final delivery.
Create promotional films, admission campaigns, event highlights, interviews, documentaries, testimonials, reels, and short-form content.
Develop compelling visual stories aligned with the school's branding and communication strategy.
Ensure all video content meets the highest standards of creativity and quality.
Social Media Management
Manage and grow the school's presence across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and other digital platforms.
Develop and execute monthly content calendars and social media campaigns.
Plan and publish engaging content to increase reach, engagement, and admissions enquiries.
Monitor social media trends and recommend innovative content ideas.
Respond to comments, messages, and online engagement in coordination with the management when required.
Branding & Marketing
Maintain consistency in the school's visual identity across all digital platforms.
Work closely with the Admissions, HR, and Academic teams to promote school events, achievements, student life, and recruitment campaigns.
Cover school events, competitions, cultural programmes, sports events, and special occasions.
Coordinate with photographers, designers, agencies, and external vendors for content creation.
Leadership & Strategy
Lead and mentor the creative team, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
Develop creative concepts and campaign strategies to enhance the school's digital presence.
Analyse social media performance using analytics tools and prepare monthly performance reports with recommendations for improvement.
Manage digital assets and maintain an organised content library.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Production, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in professional video editing and social media management.
Experience in the education, hospitality, media, advertising, or branding industry will be preferred.
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, and Audition.
Experience with motion graphics, animation, colour correction, and sound editing.
Proficiency in DSLR and mirrorless cameras, lighting setups, and audio equipment.
Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, LinkedIn, and social media scheduling tools.
Understanding of social media algorithms, SEO, content strategy, and digital marketing best practices.
