About the Role
We are looking for a multi-skilled and responsible team member who can handle different parts of cafe operations instead of being limited to one job.
You may be involved in:
- Preparing and cooking vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
- Preparing salads, sandwiches, burritos, meals, shakes and beverages.
- Following our recipes, SOPs, hygiene and food-safety standards.
- Handling basic cooking tasks such as chopping, mincing, boiling, soaking, sautéing and temperature control.
- Taking customer orders and communicating politely with customers.
- Basic billing and counter handling
- Packing takeaway orders
- Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen, equipment and work area
- Checking ingredients, stock, expiry and wastage
- Receiving and checking supplies
- Helping with day-to-day cafe management
- Giving useful ideas and feedback to improve food, service and operations
- Taking responsibility and helping manage the outlet when required

Customers may sometimes be angry, impatient or difficult. You must be able to remain calm, respectful and professional, understand the problem and try to find a solution. Abusive or inappropriate behaviour from a customer does not justify losing your temperament.
Strict Hygiene Standards :: Hygiene is non-negotiable.
You must follow proper:
- Handwashing and personal hygiene
- Food handling practices
- Hair/beard covering where required
- Uniform and clean appearance
- Cross-contamination prevention
- Food storage and temperature control
- Cleaning and sanitisation
- FIFO/FEFO and expiry awareness
- Kitchen and equipment cleaning
Every team member is responsible for keeping the workplace clean. Its your holy place.
Compensation & Benefits
- ₹8,000 – ₹20,000/month, negotiable based on skills and experience
- Performance-based salary review
- Bonus for occasional extended working hours when required
- Staff meal/food support
- Uniform provided
- Salary payment flexibility can be discussed (Biweekly is also an option so that you never run out of cash flow or get trapped in debt burden)
- Additional benefits may be introduced as the business grows and the employee proves their commitment
