Sales and Marketing Associate – Luxury Home Décor

Department: Business Development / Sales / Marketing

Experience: 2–5 years in business development, marketing / sales, luxury retail, interior design, furniture, home décor, architecture, or a related premium/luxury segment
Location: Delhi, Gurugram

About the Brand

We are a premium/luxury home décor brand creating thoughtfully designed products and experiences for sophisticated residential and commercial spaces. Our portfolio combines distinctive design, superior craftsmanship, premium materials, and refined aesthetics.

We are looking for an ambitious, well-connected, and commercially driven Sales and Marketing Associate who can help expand the brand's presence among high-value customers, interior designers, architects, luxury retailers, hospitality businesses, developers, and other relevant clientele.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of premium customer behaviour, excellent relationship-building skills, a consultative approach to selling, and the ability to represent a luxury brand with confidence and professionalism.

Role Overview

The Sales and Marketing Associate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline of prospective clients, nurturing relationships, generating sales, and contributing to the overall growth of the brand.

This role requires a combination of new business acquisition, relationship management, lead generation, client servicing, sales conversion, market development, and strategic networking.

The candidate will act as an important brand ambassador and will be expected to understand the company's product portfolio deeply enough to communicate its design philosophy, craftsmanship, value proposition, and commercial benefits to prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Lead Generation

Identify and develop new business opportunities across residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, and other relevant segments.
Research and map potential customers, architects, interior designers, design studios, developers, hospitality groups, procurement teams, luxury retailers, and corporate clients.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
Proactively generate leads through networking, referrals, industry events, exhibitions, social platforms, cold outreach, partnerships, and market research.
Identify high-potential accounts and develop structured approaches to convert them into long-term clients.
Explore new territories, customer segments, and channels for business expansion.
Develop opportunities from initial enquiry through presentation, negotiation, order closure, and repeat business.

2. Architect & Interior Designer Relationships

Build strong professional relationships with architects, interior designers, decorators, design consultants, and studios.
Regularly visit design firms and present the brand's product portfolio, collections, materials, finishes, and capabilities.
Identify upcoming residential and commercial projects where the brand's products could be specified.
Track projects from the initial design stage through specification, procurement, installation, and completion.
Develop the brand as a preferred vendor/specification partner among influential design professionals.
Maintain an updated database of architects, designers, studios, developers, and key decision-makers.
Establish recurring business through designer relationships, project referrals, and repeat specifications.

3. Client Acquisition & Sales

Understand prospective clients' requirements, preferences, budgets, timelines, and design objectives.
Conduct professional client presentations and product demonstrations.
Recommend appropriate products and solutions based on the client's aesthetic and functional requirements.
Prepare quotations, proposals, product presentations, and commercial offers in coordination with internal teams.
Follow up systematically with prospects to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within approved company guidelines.
Close sales while maintaining the premium positioning and profitability of the brand.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
Develop opportunities for cross-selling and upselling across the product portfolio.

4. Luxury Client Experience

Deliver a highly personalised and professional experience to every prospective and existing client.
Understand the expectations and service standards associated with luxury customers.
Maintain strong attention to detail throughout the customer journey.
Ensure timely communication regarding product availability, pricing, customisation, delivery, installation, and other requirements.
Handle client concerns professionally and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues.
Build long-term relationships rather than focusing solely on transactional sales.
Encourage referrals and repeat purchases from satisfied clients.

5. Project & Order Coordination

Coordinate with design, merchandising, production, operations, logistics, finance, and customer service teams to execute client requirements.
Maintain accurate information regarding product specifications, quantities, finishes, lead times, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Track orders and projects from confirmation to delivery.
Proactively communicate project updates and potential delays to clients.
Ensure smooth handover from sales to execution teams.
Support the team in ensuring that the final customer experience meets the brand's quality standards.

6. Market & Competitor Intelligence

Monitor luxury home décor, furniture, interiors, architecture, hospitality, and lifestyle trends.
Track competitor brands, pricing, collections, positioning, distribution strategies, and new launches.
Identify gaps and opportunities within the market.
Share relevant market insights with the management and product/marketing teams.
Stay informed about upcoming projects, developments, luxury residences, hotels, restaurants, offices, and other potential business opportunities.

7. Networking & Brand Representation

Represent the brand at exhibitions, design events, industry conferences, networking events, launches, and client meetings.
Build a strong professional network within the luxury interiors and design ecosystem.
Develop relationships with premium real-estate developers, hospitality brands, design houses, and relevant industry stakeholders.
Participate in brand activations and client engagement initiatives.
Maintain a polished, professional, and brand-appropriate image at all times.

8. CRM & Sales Reporting

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, prospects, meetings, quotations, opportunities, orders, and follow-ups.
Regularly update the CRM or sales management system.
Prepare weekly/monthly sales pipeline reports.
Track lead-to-conversion ratios, sales value, average order value, repeat business, and other relevant KPIs.
Provide management with accurate forecasts and updates on major opportunities.
Ensure that no qualified lead or follow-up opportunity is lost due to inadequate tracking.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Interior Design, Architecture, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
Candidates with relevant industry experience and strong client networks may also be considered.

Pay: Up to ₹55,000.00 per month
