Position Title
Administrator / Administrative Officer

Job Summary
The Administrator is responsible for the overall administrative, operational, statutory, and support service functions of the college. The role ensures smooth day-to-day functioning of academic and non-academic operations in compliance with Indian Nursing Council (INC), Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, affiliating university, and government regulations. The Administrator coordinates between management, faculty, students, hospital authorities, parents, and external agencies to maintain institutional efficiency and discipline.
Key Responsibilities1. Administrative Management
- Oversee daily administrative operations of the college.
- Maintain institutional records, files, registers, and official correspondence.
- Coordinate office staff, clerical staff, drivers, housekeeping, security, and support personnel.
- Ensure smooth functioning of departments including admissions, hostel, transport, accounts, and maintenance.
- Implement institutional policies and management decisions.
2. Regulatory & Compliance Functions
- Ensure compliance with:
- Indian Nursing Council (INC)
- Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council
- Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University norms
- Fire & Safety regulations
- Labour and statutory requirements
- Coordinate inspections and approval processes.
- Prepare documents for university affiliation, INC inspections, and audits.
3. Admission & Student Administration
- Supervise admission procedures and student documentation.
- Maintain student attendance, records, ID cards, and university data.
- Coordinate scholarship, fee collection, and hostel administration.
- Address student and parent grievances in coordination with the Principal.
4. Human Resource Coordination
- Assist management in recruitment and onboarding of teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and appraisal files.
- Coordinate staff meetings, duty schedules, and administrative communication.
5. Financial & Asset Administration
- Coordinate with accounts department for:
- Fee management
- Vendor payments
- Budget monitoring
- Purchase approvals
- Maintain inventory and institutional assets.
- Supervise procurement of equipment, stationery, lab materials, uniforms, and hostel supplies.
6. Infrastructure & Facility Management
- Monitor maintenance of classrooms, laboratories, library, hostel, transport, and campus facilities.
- Ensure campus cleanliness, safety, electricity, water supply, and security systems.
- Coordinate repair and annual maintenance contracts.
7. Coordination & Public Relations
- Liaise with hospitals for clinical postings and student training.
- Coordinate with university officials, government departments, and external agencies.
- Support marketing, student recruitment, and public relations activities.
- Organize institutional events, inspections, seminars, and graduation programs.
8. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare monthly administrative reports for management.
- Maintain confidential institutional records and compliance documents.
- Generate reports related to admissions, staff, inventory, and infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Administration, Commerce, Management, Hospital Administration, or related field.
- Preference for candidates with:
- MBA / MHA / Hospital Administration
- Educational Administration experience
- Minimum 5–10 years of administrative experience in educational or healthcare institutions preferred.

Salary Range (Suggested)
- ₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month
- Based on experience, qualifications, and institutional responsibilities.
Working Hours
- Full-time
- Monday to Saturday
- Additional duties during inspections, admissions, examinations, and events.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
