Position Details

· Role: Performance Test Engineer 3

· Experience: 6–9 Years

· Location: Chennai (CHN)

The Purpose of This Role

· We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with 6–9 years of hands-on experience in designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests for web and enterprise applications.

· The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of performance testing tools, methodologies, and metrics, and will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of our systems under load.

· Ensure software systems are robust, scalable, and responsive under varying load conditions.

· Identify performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies across application, infrastructure, and database layers.

· Enable development teams to release optimized applications with confidence.

· Deliver actionable recommendations through detailed performance analysis and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and develop performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios based on business requirements.

· Execute load, stress, endurance, and spike tests using LoadRunner, JMeter, or Akamai Cloud Test.

· Monitor system performance using Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and Datadog.

· Use ELK Stack, Splunk, and Trace Log for log analysis and performance insights.

· Analyze test results and identify bottlenecks across applications, databases, and infrastructure.

· Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to resolve performance issues.

· Provide detailed performance reports and optimization recommendations.

· Support performance tuning and capacity planning initiatives.

· Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in performance engineering.

Required Skills

· 6+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering

· Expertise in LoadRunner, Akamai Cloud Test, and JMeter

· Experience in load, stress, endurance, and spike testing

· Hands-on experience with Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and Datadog

· Experience with ELK Stack, Splunk, and Trace Log

· Strong knowledge of HTTP/S, REST APIs, and web technologies

· Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS and Azure

· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Technical & Behavioural Competencies

· Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and performance engineering concepts.

· Excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.

· Ability to identify and resolve complex performance bottlenecks.

· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Educational Qualification

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,300,000.00 per year
