Full job description

(Senior) Specialist, Project Management The job responsibilities outlined in this document are not exhaustive and may evolve over time and be reviewed according to business needs. ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The incumbent is responsible for managing multiple small to mid-size projects through to successful completion. In addition to Project Management, this role will also assume responsibilities for managing tools to support key department processes for Project, Demand and Resource Management as well as Reporting. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS Manage a series of small to mid-size projects, including efficient coordination with cross-functional teams to capture requirements, deadlines, schedules and budget Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables Responsible for managing tools that support key department processes in Project, Demand, and Resource Management, as well as Reporting Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including user stories, sprint backlogs, and release plans Attend or facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives Prepare and present project reports and metrics to stakeholders and senior management which clearly monitor and track project progress and address issues as they arise Implement project risk management plans to minimize project delays and cost overruns, ensuring that appropriate measures are in place to handle unexpected issues Collaborate effectively across the team, leading by example to cultivate a strong collaborative culture Act as a coach on how to use Agile/SCRUM practices and values to enable cross-functional teams to adopt agile ways of working to achieve complex outcomes COMPETENCIES Project management, with the ability to navigate complex projects and deliver results that align with the company's strategic and operational objectives Continuous learner, versatile in Agile Development tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA) and Reporting/Dashboarding tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) Excellent understanding of Agile principles and SCRUM framework Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment Eager to become proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps) Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Effective conflict resolution skills, with an ability to explore all feasible avenues before escalation Ability to work collaboratively, leading teams to deliver project objectives in a cross-functional environment QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are advantageous 3-5 years of project management experience, ideally within a technical or engineering discipline Agile Development certifications preferred Proven track record of successful project delivery, managing multiple projects simultaneously Effective management skills and analytical skills, capable of working both independently and collabo-ratively Experience in Project Management and Agile Tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, JIRA) as well as in PowerBI or similar tools for reporting and data analysis is desired Understanding of SCRUM and Agile Methodology div.content { background: #FFFFFF; } div.joqReqDescription { background: #FFF repeat-y!important; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif!important; text-align:left; color:#000; width:700px!important; margin:0 auto!important; position:relative; -webkit-column-count: 1; /* Chrome, Safari, Opera */ -moz-column-count: 1; /* Firefox */ column-count: 1; padding-top:0px; padding-left: inherit; padding-bottom:50px; font-size:14px } div.joqReqDescription div.image-box { width: 700px; text-align: center; display: block; padding: 0 0 35px; } div.joqReqDescription p, div.joqReqDescription ul{ font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif!important; margin:0 15px; padding-bottom:12px; } div.joqReqDescription li{ padding-bottom:6px; } /* position: absolute; height: 389px; } div.joqReqDescription div.imagebox2 { text-align:center; } */ SES and its Affiliated Companies are committed to providing fair and equal employment opportunities to all.
