Position: UI/UX Design Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Design Intern to help design modern, intuitive, and user-friendly digital experiences. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to create high-quality interfaces for web applications and responsive websites.

This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who are passionate about user experience, visual design, design systems, and solving real-world usability challenges.

Responsibilities

Design modern, responsive web and mobile interfaces.
Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity UI designs.
Build interactive prototypes using Figma.
Develop and maintain a consistent design system.
Design dashboards, landing pages, forms, and user workflows.
Conduct UX research and competitor analysis.
Improve user journeys, accessibility, and usability.
Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Create icons, illustrations, and marketing assets when needed.
Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends and best practices.

Required Skills

Good understanding of UI/UX design principles.
Proficiency in Figma.
Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design.
Understanding of typography, color theory, spacing, and layout.
Strong creativity and attention to detail.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to accept feedback and iterate on designs.

Auto Layout and Components in Figma
Prototyping and Micro-interactions
User Research
Information Architecture
Accessibility (WCAG)
Basic HTML & CSS
Motion Design (a plus)
Illustration or Icon Design (a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

Students or recent graduates in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
Portfolio showcasing web or mobile UI/UX projects.
Personal, academic, freelance, or open-source design work is highly valued.
