Full job description

About the Role

ARCH4 FOUNDATION is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant with 3+ years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial transactions, quotations, GST compliance, audits, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, be proficient in Tally Prime, and be capable of independently handling statutory compliance and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.

· Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions in Tally Prime.

· Post purchase, sales, payment, receipt, journal, and contra entries accurately.

· Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journal entries.

· Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

· Prepare customer quotations based on project requirements.

· Generate Proforma Invoices, Tax Invoices, Debit Notes, and Credit Notes.

· Process day-to-day billing and ensure timely invoice generation.

· Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash and bank records.

· Assist in GST audits, statutory audits, and internal audits.

· Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities.

· Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.

· Maintain records for TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.

· Process vendor payments and follow up on customer receivables.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

· Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

Required Skills

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

· Proficiency in Tally Prime.

· Experience in day-to-day accounting entries, quotation preparation, and billing.

· Basic knowledge of TDS, bank reconciliation, and statutory compliance.

· Experience in financial reporting and MIS preparation.

· Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

· Experience in the construction, engineering, or real estate industry will be an added advantage.

· Knowledge of payroll processing will be an added advantage.

· Familiarity with project billing and quotation preparation will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

· Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and finance.

· Hands-on experience with Tally Prime, GST filing, GST audits, quotation preparation, and day-to-day accounting operations.

· Strong understanding of accounting processes and statutory compliance.

· Good organizational and time management skills.

· Honest, reliable, and committed to maintaining confidentiality.

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
