Full job description

Job Title: Hair Transplant Surgeon

Reports To: Clinical Centre Head

Location: La Densitae Clinic, Thane

Job Summary:

The Hair Transplant Surgeon is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with hair loss and scalp conditions, primarily through medical and surgical hair restoration techniques. This role involves conducting consultations, doing OPD and performing hair transplant procedures, and providing post-operative care. The Hair Transplant Surgeon will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Consultations:
Conduct thorough consultations to assess patients' hair loss conditions and advice treatment according to condition like PRP and other injectable treatment, Medical management, Hair Transplant surgery, Scalp micropigmentation and non surgical options like hair wig
Discuss treatment options, procedures, risks, and expected outcomes with patients in detail.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and preferences.
Surgical Procedures:
Perform hair transplant surgeries using techniques such as Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT).
Ensure precision and attention to detail during the extraction, preparation, and implantation of hair follicles.
Use advanced surgical tools and technology to optimize the results of hair transplant procedures.
Surgeon will be responsible from start and end of surgery till the discharge of patient. Doctor/ Surgeon will be completely responsible for the surgery. Doctor/ Surgeon ar e required to be present at the start of the surgery, during the surgery and at the time of discharge of the surgery.
Being qualified Doctor Surgeon will be responsible for the outcomes and positive results of the surgery. For any complication Surgeon or Doctor in charge of the surgery will be held responsible.
Post-Operative Care:
Provide detailed post-operative care instructions to patients to ensure optimal recovery and results.
Monitor and manage patients' post-surgery progress, addressing any complications or concerns.
Conduct follow-up consultations to assess the success of the transplant and discuss further treatment if necessary.
Patient Education:
Educate patients about hair loss prevention, hair care, and maintenance post-transplant.
Provide information on lifestyle changes and products that can support hair health and growth.
Ensure patients are well-informed and comfortable with their treatment plan and recovery process.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Work collaboratively with other medical professionals, including dermatologists, nurses, and technicians.
Participate in case discussions and team meetings to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Contribute to a positive and professional clinic environment.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including consultation notes, treatment plans, and post-operative progress.
Ensure compliance with medical documentation standards and clinic policies.
Prepare reports and summaries as required by clinic management.
Continuous Learning and Development:
Stay updated on the latest advancements in hair transplant techniques and technology.
Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Participate in clinical research and contribute to medical publications if applicable.

Qualifications:

Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
Specialization in Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, or a related field.
Additional certification or fellowship in Hair Transplant Surgery.
Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience performing hair transplant surgeries.
Proficiency in FUE and FUT hair transplant techniques.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
