About the Role
EVO Innovative Surfaces is looking for a dynamic, result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive business growth across the Architect, Modular Kitchen, Project Sales, Laminates, MCS and Dealer segments.
The BDM will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with architects, interior designers, modular kitchen manufacturers, contractors, project stakeholders and dealers, and converting these relationships into sustainable sales.
Key Responsibilities1. Architect & Interior Designer Development
- Identify and develop relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants and design firms.
- Conduct regular meetings, product presentations and sample demonstrations.
- Generate product specifications and enquiries through architects and designers.
- Build a strong architect/designer network for recurring business.
- Track upcoming residential, commercial and hospitality projects.
2. Modular Kitchen Business
- Develop relationships with modular kitchen manufacturers, OEMs, kitchen studios and furniture manufacturers.
- Promote EVO's laminate/surface solutions for modular kitchens, wardrobes and furniture applications.
- Generate enquiries and convert them into orders.
- Coordinate with design, estimation and technical teams for customer requirements.
- Develop long-term OEM and modular kitchen accounts.
3. Project Sales
- Identify upcoming residential, commercial, hospitality and institutional projects.
- Develop relationships with builders, developers, contractors, project managers and consultants.
- Generate project enquiries and secure product specifications/approvals.
- Follow the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
- Coordinate with internal teams for quotations, samples, technical information and execution.
- Monitor project status and ensure timely follow-up.
4. Dealer & Channel Development
- Identify and appoint new dealers/channel partners in the assigned territory.
- Develop existing dealer relationships and increase business volumes.
- Plan regular dealer visits and understand market requirements.
- Ensure product availability and visibility through the dealer network.
- Support dealers with product knowledge, samples, catalogues and promotional activities.
- Monitor dealer sales, outstanding payments and market potential.
5. Laminates & MCS Business Development
- Promote EVO's laminate and MCS product portfolio to architects, designers, dealers, OEMs and project customers.
- Conduct product presentations and explain product features, applications and benefits.
- Identify new market opportunities and applications.
- Develop new accounts and increase sales from existing customers.
- Collect customer and market feedback for product/market development.
6. Sales & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Generate new leads and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Convert enquiries into orders through systematic follow-up.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms within company guidelines.
- Maintain regular follow-up for pending orders and payments.
- Develop repeat business from existing customers.
7. Market Development & Competition
- Conduct regular market visits and territory mapping.
- Identify new customers, projects and business opportunities.
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, schemes and market activities.
- Provide regular market intelligence and customer feedback to management.
- Identify new territories and customer segments for business expansion.
8. Reporting & CRM/MIS
- Maintain an updated database of architects, designers, dealers, OEMs and projects.
- Maintain daily/weekly visit and enquiry reports.
- Track leads, quotations, conversions and pending orders.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates to management.
- Maintain accurate CRM/MIS records.

Candidate Profile
Education: Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales/Marketing preferred.
Experience: 3–7 years of relevant experience in B2B sales/business development, preferably in:
- Laminates / Decorative Surfaces
- Modular Kitchens
- Furniture / Interior Products
- Plywood / Building Materials
- Project Sales
- Architectural Products
- Hardware / Interior Solutions
Required Skills

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should have a strong network among architects, interior designers, modular kitchen manufacturers, dealers, builders and project stakeholders, along with proven experience in selling laminates, MCS, interior or architectural surface products.
The candidate should be highly proactive, commercially strong, well-presented and capable of independently developing a territory and delivering consistent revenue growth.

Reports To: Sales Head / Business Head
Location: As per assigned territory
Travel: Extensive local and outstation market/project travel as required.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
