Job Description – Software Sales Executive|ESG Sales | (SaaS Product)

Experience: 3–4 Years
Location: Pune (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented ESG Sales Expert with 3–4 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, specifically in ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance), Sustainability, Carbon Management, or Climate Tech solutions. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of selling SaaS products to enterprise and mid-market clients, managing the complete sales cycle, and driving revenue growth through consultative selling.

Key Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end sales of ESG SaaS solutions, including lead generation, product demonstrations, proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across enterprise and mid-market organizations.
Understand clients' ESG, sustainability, compliance, and reporting requirements and position the company's SaaS platform accordingly.
Conduct product presentations, online demos, and client meetings to showcase platform capabilities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, Sustainability Heads, ESG Managers, Compliance Officers, and key decision-makers.
Collaborate with the Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and customer interactions using CRM tools.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Stay updated on ESG regulations, sustainability reporting frameworks, and industry trends to provide value-driven solutions to clients.

Required Skills

3–4 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably in ESG, Sustainability, Climate Tech, Carbon Accounting, GRC, or Compliance software.
Proven experience in enterprise sales and consultative selling.
Strong understanding of ESG reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD, or BRSR is preferred.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Experience managing the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting to closure.
Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Ability to build long-term customer relationships and exceed sales targets.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Sustainability is preferred.
ESG or Sustainability certifications will be an added advantage.
