Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Bakery Chef to join our catering team at WAH Cafe. The candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of fresh bakery products, including puffs, muffins, pastries, and other baked items, while maintaining consistent quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of puffs, muffins, pastries, cakes, and other bakery products.
Prepare different types of dough, batters, fillings, creams, and toppings.
Ensure proper measurements, mixing, baking temperatures, and cooking times.
Maintain consistent taste, texture, quality, and presentation of all bakery products.
Prepare bakery items according to daily production requirements and catering orders.
Develop and introduce new bakery items when required.
Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery and work areas.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Monitor stock levels of bakery ingredients and inform the supervisor about replenishment requirements.
Minimize wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and properly.
Coordinate with the catering and kitchen team to ensure timely production and delivery.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Bakery Chef / Pastry Chef / Baker.
Strong practical experience in preparing puffs, muffins, pastries, and other baked products.
Good knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume catering environment.
Good attention to detail and presentation.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Flexible to work according to catering production requirements.

Pay: ₹20,352.02 - ₹35,253.17 per month
