Founder’s Office – Operations & Procurement

About Oh! Mausam

Oh! Mausam is a growing seasonal food and beverage brand focused on creating high-quality, innovative products and memorable customer experiences.

As we grow our product range and expand across locations, we’re looking for someone to work closely with the founders and take ownership of key backend operations that keep the business running smoothly.

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, organised and resourceful operations person who enjoys getting things done.

This is not a sit-behind-a-desk role. You could be speaking to a fruit supplier in the morning, figuring out packaging samples in the afternoon and reviewing purchase and cost data with the founders later that day.

You will work directly with the founders across procurement, sourcing, inventory, packaging, vendor management, operations and basic financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Raw Material Management

Manage procurement of fruits, ingredients, consumables and other raw materials required for daily operations
Identify and evaluate new suppliers to improve quality, pricing and reliability
Negotiate rates and commercial terms with vendors
Maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely deliveries
Track procurement requirements across stores and central operations
Ensure adequate stock while minimising wastage and over-ordering

2. Packaging Sourcing & Development

Source packaging solutions for existing and upcoming Oh! Mausam products
Research new cups, containers, boxes, bags, cutlery and other packaging formats
Coordinate with packaging manufacturers and vendors for samples, pricing and MOQs
Compare suppliers on quality, cost, lead time and scalability
Work with the founders on developing packaging that is both operationally practical and aligned with the Oh! Mausam brand

3. Inventory & Backend Operations

Maintain visibility on raw material, packaging and consumable inventory
Establish systems for stock tracking, reorder levels and consumption
Coordinate between suppliers, central kitchen/storage and outlets
Identify operational gaps and help create simple SOPs and processes
Track wastage, shortages and discrepancies and work towards reducing them
Support smooth launches of new products and locations from an operations perspective

4. Vendor & Cost Management

Build and maintain a reliable vendor database
Obtain and compare quotations before major purchases
Track purchase prices and identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality
Follow up on invoices, payments, bills and supporting documentation
Maintain organised records of purchases and vendor transactions

5. Finance & Reporting Support

Assist the founders in maintaining basic MIS and financial reports
Track purchases, operational expenses and product-level costs
Support preparation of monthly sales, expense and profitability reports
Help monitor food cost, packaging cost, wastage and other key operating metrics
Coordinate with the accountant/finance team for invoices, bills and reconciliations
Ensure data and documentation are maintained accurately and on time

6. Founder’s Office & Business Support

Work directly with the founders on day-to-day operational priorities
Assist with research, vendor discovery and execution of new ideas
Support new product launches, store openings, events and expansion projects
Follow up with internal teams and external partners to ensure tasks are completed on time
Take ownership of operational problems and drive them through to resolution

Who We’re Looking For

2+ years of experience in operations, procurement, supply chain, F&B, retail, hospitality or a similar role
Strong organisational and follow-up skills
Comfortable working with numbers, Excel/Google Sheets and basic financial reports
Good negotiation and vendor-management skills
Resourceful — someone who can research, find suppliers, compare options and come back with solutions
Comfortable being hands-on and working across office, store, warehouse/kitchen and vendor locations when required
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Good written and verbal communication skills
High level of ownership, integrity and reliability

Experience in F&B, QSR, hospitality, retail, food manufacturing or packaging would be an advantage.
