Full job description

We are looking for a creative, energetic, and social-media-savvy Content Creator who can independently plan, shoot, edit, and publish engaging content for our social media platforms.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable in front of and behind the camera, have a good understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form video content, and be capable of converting ideas, campus activities, events, achievements, and promotional requirements into attractive and engaging digital content.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, shoot, and create engaging videos, reels, short-form videos, and social media content.
Handle day-to-day content creation for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
Create attractive and trending Reels using current social media trends, formats, music, hooks, and concepts.
Shoot videos on campus, during events, activities, seminars, workshops, student activities, and institutional functions.
Edit videos professionally with appropriate transitions, text, captions, music, effects, and branding.
Develop creative concepts and scripts for promotional and informational videos.
Coordinate with the HR, Admissions, Marketing, and Academic teams to understand content requirements.
Capture photographs and videos during important institutional events and activities.
Manage the complete content cycle from ideation and shooting to editing, posting, and performance tracking.
Write engaging captions, headlines, and descriptions for social media posts.
Maintain consistency in the institute's branding, tone, and visual identity.
Monitor social media trends and identify new content ideas that can increase reach and engagement.
Maintain a monthly/weekly content calendar and ensure timely posting.
Collaborate with faculty, students, management, and other team members for video shoots and promotional content.
Review social media performance and suggest improvements based on engagement, reach, views, and audience response.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Instagram Reels and short-form video content.
Good video shooting and camera/mobile photography skills.
Strong video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, VN, Canva, or similar software.
Creative thinking and ability to develop fresh content ideas.
Good understanding of social media trends and algorithms.
Basic knowledge of photography and lighting.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to write basic scripts, captions, and social media copy.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple content requirements.
Ability to work on-location and during events when required.
Good sense of visual presentation, storytelling, timing, and audience engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Digital Marketing, Marketing, Media, or any relevant field.
1–2 years of experience in content creation, social media, digital marketing, or a similar role.
Candidates with a strong portfolio of Reels, videos, or social media campaigns will be preferred.
Freshers with excellent content creation skills and a strong portfolio may also be considered.

Important Requirement

Candidates applying for this position should share their portfolio, Instagram/social media work, or previously created Reels/videos along with their CV.

Candidates who can independently shoot + edit + create attractive Reels + publish/manage social media content will be given preference.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
