Position Description: We are looking for a QA / QE Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in test automation, RPA, API testing, and modern AI-assisted quality engineering practices. The position involves designing, developing, executing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks and reusable test scripts for UI and end-to-end testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, UiPath, API automation, CI/CD integration, and Generative AI tools to improve test automation efficiency and overall software quality
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Understand business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business processes to define effective test coverage.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain scalable UI and end-to-end automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.
- Create reusable, maintainable, and robust automated test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using appropriate frameworks, coding standards, design patterns, and reusable components.
- Leverage UiPath for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and business process automation.
- Design and execute API automation and validate REST API responses, integrations, data flows, and business workflows.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines and support automated test execution in build and deployment environments.
- Analyze test failures, identify root causes, troubleshoot automation issues, and provide clear defect reports with supporting evidence.
- Use Generative AI and Prompt Engineering techniques to improve test script generation, test data creation, defect analysis, root cause analysis, and automation optimization.
- Leverage AI-assisted development and testing tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, and Microsoft Copilot to improve productivity and automation quality.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to triage defects and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test planning, estimation, sprint activities, and release readiness.
- Maintain test documentation, test data, automation assets, execution results, and test reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, framework scalability, automation stability, and overall QA processes.
- Support continuous quality improvement by adopting modern testing, automation, DevOps, and AI-assisted testing practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in UI and end-to-end test automation using Selenium and Playwright.
- Experience designing, developing, executing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks and reusable test scripts.
- Hands-on experience with UiPath for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and business process automation.
- Strong understanding of QA concepts, test design, defect lifecycle, and software testing methodologies.
- Experience with functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with API automation and validation of RESTful APIs.
- Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and build environments.
- Experience with test reporting, defect tracking, and release validation.
- Knowledge of Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, and AI-assisted test automation.
- Hands-on or practical experience using AI-assisted tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, or Microsoft Copilot.
- Ability to leverage AI for automated test script generation, test data creation, defect analysis, root cause analysis, and automation optimization.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, SQL, Git, Jira, Azure DevOps, and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with advanced Selenium or Playwright automation framework development.
- Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Knowledge of API automation tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Experience with UiPath Orchestrator and enterprise RPA implementations.
- Exposure to test management tools such as Zephyr, TestRail, or similar platforms.
- Experience building test dashboards, automation metrics, and quality reporting.
- Exposure to cloud-based testing and DevOps platforms.
- Experience using AI to optimize test coverage, generate test scenarios, and improve automation maintenance.
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or other programming languages used for test automation.
