Founded by Jeenanath Shetty and Srikar Shetty, DJRS brings together more than 30 years of combined hospitality experience, with a vision to create brands that go beyond food and become memorable experiences in themselves.

Our portfolio spans multiple formats and customer experiences, including Amaru, our Japanese–Peruvian fine-dining destination in Bandra; What's Your Plan?, a vibrant socio-bar in Andheri; and our growing cloud kitchen portfolio, including Soi Wasabi, Comida, and Rumali Ke Saath. DJRS also operates across catering, private events, large-scale productions, and experiential entertainment.

We're continuing to expand our portfolio with new concepts, including Zilch, our upcoming premium all-day dining café in Breach Candy.

About the Role

We're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded, and highly creative Head of Marketing to lead the marketing function across the DJRS Hospitality portfolio.

This is a brand-building role, not simply a social media position.

You'll be responsible for shaping how our brands are positioned, communicated, experienced, and remembered — from overarching brand strategy and campaign planning to digital growth, content, influencer marketing, partnerships, launches, PR, and customer engagement.

With an evolving portfolio and exciting new concepts in the pipeline, this role offers the opportunity to build marketing strategies from the ground up and directly influence the growth of multiple hospitality brands.

You'll work closely with the founders and leadership team, operations, culinary, and creative teams to translate business objectives into marketing strategies that generate brand awareness, customer engagement, footfall, and revenue.

What You'll OwnBrand Strategy & Portfolio Marketing

Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across the DJRS Hospitality portfolio.
Define and strengthen the positioning, personality, tone of voice, and communication strategy of individual brands.
Ensure every DJRS concept has a clear and differentiated identity.
Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
Identify emerging consumer, dining, lifestyle, and cultural trends that can translate into brand opportunities.

Digital & Social Media

Own the overall digital and social media strategy across DJRS brands.
Lead content direction across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
Work closely with the Social Media, Design, Videography, and Content teams to develop high-impact content.
Ensure each brand maintains a consistent yet distinctive digital identity.
Stay ahead of emerging platforms, formats, trends, and cultural moments.
Use analytics and consumer insights to continuously improve digital performance.

Campaigns & Brand Activations

Conceptualize and execute campaigns around launches, menu drops, festivals, events, partnerships, and seasonal occasions.
Develop campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, reservations, footfall, and revenue.
Create innovative brand activations that generate conversation and organic visibility.
Work with creative teams to turn concepts into compelling campaigns across multiple touchpoints.

New Brand & Outlet Launches

Lead the marketing strategy for upcoming DJRS concepts and outlet launches.
Develop pre-launch, launch, and post-launch marketing plans.
Build anticipation and demand before a new concept opens.
Work with operations and leadership to ensure marketing plans are aligned with launch timelines and commercial objectives.
Establish the brand identity and go-to-market strategy for new concepts.

Influencer, Partnerships & PR

Develop and manage influencer and creator marketing strategies.
Build meaningful partnerships with food, lifestyle, entertainment, and relevant consumer communities.
Identify opportunities for collaborations that strengthen brand visibility.
Work with PR and media partners to generate earned visibility for DJRS brands.
Develop relationships with relevant creators, publications, communities, and industry partners.

Performance Marketing & Analytics

Oversee digital performance marketing initiatives across relevant brands.
Establish clear marketing KPIs and measurement frameworks.
Track campaign performance, customer acquisition, engagement, conversion, and ROI.
Analyse customer and campaign data to identify growth opportunities.
Present regular marketing performance reports and actionable insights to leadership.

Team Leadership

Lead and mentor the marketing and creative function.
Build effective workflows across social media, design, content, photography, videography, performance marketing, and external agencies.
Set clear objectives, timelines, and performance expectations.
Build a culture that encourages creativity, experimentation, accountability, and measurable results.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of relevant marketing experience, preferably with substantial experience in hospitality, restaurants, cafés, F&B, lifestyle, nightlife, or consumer brands.
Proven experience in developing and executing end-to-end marketing strategies.
Experience managing multiple brands or business verticals is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of brand building, digital marketing, social media, content, influencer marketing, and consumer behaviour.
Strong commercial understanding with the ability to connect marketing activity to business outcomes.
Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Strong creative instincts combined with a data-driven mindset.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Strong understanding of Mumbai's hospitality, dining, lifestyle, and consumer landscape will be an advantage.
