Role Overview

As a Performance Marketing Manager, you will own a portfolio of client accounts end-to-end across Google Ads and Meta Ads. You will be responsible for developing performance strategies, planning and allocating budgets, launching and optimising campaigns, and ensuring accounts consistently work towards their ROAS, CPA and overall business targets.

This is an execution-ownership and client-facing role. You will act as the day-to-day point of contact for your accounts, make decisions on budget allocation and campaign strategy, present performance insights to clients, and proactively identify opportunities for growth.

You will also manage and mentor Associates working on your accounts, ensuring quality execution, strong analytical thinking and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Account Ownership: Own a portfolio of client accounts across Google Ads and Meta Ads, managing campaigns end-to-end.
Strategy & Budget Management: Develop media plans, allocate budgets and make data-driven decisions to achieve client goals.
Campaign Optimisation: Monitor and optimise campaigns to improve ROAS, reduce CPA and drive overall performance.
Reporting & Analytics: Analyse performance data, prepare reports and provide clear insights, forecasts and recommendations.
Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, lead performance reviews and manage expectations and escalations.
Team Management: Mentor and review Associates, ensuring quality execution and helping them improve their performance marketing skills.
Growth & Testing: Identify new testing, optimisation and upselling opportunities across accounts.
Creative & CRO Collaboration: Work with creative and other teams to improve ad performance through creative testing, landing-page optimisation and CRO.
AI Adoption: Leverage AI tools for research, analysis, reporting, creative workflows and campaign optimisation.

A Typical Week at Unbundl

A typical week will involve reviewing account performance and budgets, running optimisation sprints, analysing campaign data, joining client calls, planning new campaigns and creative tests, reviewing Associate work, preparing performance reports and forecasts, and identifying growth opportunities across your portfolio.

You will also have regular syncs with the Senior Manager / Growth Lead to discuss portfolio health, performance, forecasts and escalations.

Qualifications & SkillsMust-Have

3–5 years of experience in performance marketing / paid media.
Strong agency experience is preferred.
Hands-on expertise in both Google Ads and Meta Ads.
Strong understanding of campaign strategy, media planning, budget allocation and optimisation.
Strong understanding of ROAS, CPA, CPL, CTR, conversion rate and other performance metrics.
Working knowledge of GA4 and GTM.
Understanding of CRO and landing-page optimisation fundamentals.
Proven track record of improving ROAS, reducing CPA or delivering measurable business outcomes.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
Excellent client communication and presentation skills.
Strong ownership and problem-solving mindset.
Ability to manage and mentor junior team members.
Strong adoption of AI tools in research, reporting, analysis and creative workflows.

Nice to Have

Experience working across multiple industries or different account sizes.
Marketplace advertising experience across Amazon or Flipkart.
Experience with quick-commerce platforms.
Hands-on understanding of landing-page optimisation and CRO.
Experience working closely with creative teams on performance-led creative strategy.

Independently owns multiple client portfolios with minimal oversight.
Consistently meets or exceeds agreed ROAS / CPA and other account-level performance targets.
Demonstrates strong control over budgets, pacing and campaign strategy.
Builds strong relationships with clients and maintains high client satisfaction.
Identifies and resolves potential escalations proactively.
Delivers clear, insightful and actionable performance reviews.
Associates working on the accounts show visible improvement in execution and analytical capabilities.
Consistently identifies new testing, optimisation and growth opportunities.
Demonstrates strong adoption of AI tools to improve efficiency and quality of work.
